An immersive outdoor adventure with songs you will be singing all the way home.
The powerful Sershal is stopping our connection with the natural world, and something must be done about it. Guided by WoodGruff and his woodland companions, families are drawn into an adventure to search for natural offerings that will save the forest.
This is an actor-musician show. All of our performers are multi-instrumentalists who play live, in character — saxophone, clarinet, guitar, flute and three actors on piano. There's a giant puppet, original songs, and — midway through — the whole audience leaves the seats behind for a fifteen minute expedition into the trees, hunting for what the story needs. Then everyone comes back and finishes the tale together.
It is a show about paying attention to the place you are in. It is also a show where you get to shout, sing, search and wander, which is much the same thing if you do it properly.
"A gorgeous family experience that truly embodies its message of connecting with the natural world. I really enjoyed how the production engaged with the woodland surroundings, and the puppeteering work was brilliant!"
Connor Goodwin · Creative Director, Divided Culture"It was a wonderful show but I've now heard We Three Spirits played at least 100 times. Both kids now know all the words and it's driving me insane!"
Krissi Bohn · Actor and parent"Great family fun, you'll have a blast."
Daniel · Parent"I loved it!"
Ben · Aged 9One of four original songs from the woods. Press play — no signing up, no faff.
